BRILLIANT CONNECTIONS
Corina Bartra is one of the great pioneers of Afro-Peruvian jazz, combining the exciting rhythms of her native Peru with the brilliant jazz of her adopted American homeland. So it’s no surprise that when she turns her ever-questing mind towards spiritual music, she achieves another wonderful combination, this time chanting that combines Indian, Andean and American strains. It also marries music from defined traditions with others that are spiritual in nature but don’t conform to any particular orthodoxy. I can tell you Corina’s chanting work is literally enchanting. I believe her Chants from the Seeds of Bliss is the most-played CD in my collection!

A great sound that gives you a festival vibe in your own home. If you want to dance, belly dance, or just get a happy creative vibe going in your own living room then this is your thing. A fantastic mature sound of various instruments and a vocal that molds into the music like a knife through butter. Every song is a dream for dancers or people who are really into this genre of music. Try not to move around to this. It’s impossible.
